It is the only motorhome in our fleet with a rear island bed — a fixed double bed of 1.50m x 1.90m that you do not have to assemble or disassemble. Five approved seats, separate bathroom and shower, and all the reliability of German engineering Dethleffs in a 2025 vehicle.
The rear bed of the DBM is fixed and double bed — 1.50m wide by 1.90m long. They’re not beds that snap together or setups that need to be prepared every night: you get on, and the bed is ready. Ideal if you sleep two adults together and want real comfort without compromises.
Like all our 5-seater models, the DBM distributes the bathroom and shower in separate spaces. It also has a garage of 2.20m x 1.10m x 0.95m — more than enough space for bicycles, suitcases and all the luggage of the group. And with the upper bed above the dining area (1.40m x 2.00m), you have space to sleep up to 3 people comfortably.
The key difference is in the rear bed. While the other 5-seater models have twin beds that can be separated or put together, the DBM has a fixed double island bed (1.50 x 1.90m). If two adults are travelling together and prefer a real double bed without having to set it up every night, the DBM is the option. The rest of the equipment — engine, bathroom, shower, garage, heating — is equivalent to that of the other models.
The DBM is approved for 5 seats. It has three sleeping areas: the rear island bed (1.50 x 1.90m) for two adults, the tilting upper bed above the cabin (1.40 x 2.00m) for an additional person, and the saloon convertible into a single bed. In practice it is comfortable for families of 3-4 people or two adults with children.
Yes. The DBM features Truma Combi C6 heating, German-quality insulation and a solar panel with extra battery — making it particularly suitable for trips to the snow or cold destinations. The island bed also helps: without a central aisle between the beds, the sleeping area is warmer and more welcoming in winter.
